Pics from Drum Workshop by Griffin Brady at Hands Across Buffalo

The Richmond Ferry Church participated in the tremendously successful event: Hand Across Buffalo, organized to support the Homeless Alliance.
After the handholding ended at the RFC the hand thumbing started with an incredible Drumming and Dance Workshop giving by Griffin Brady from Slyboots, a local organization with a focus on community building, while training musicians, artists, dancers and providing industry resources at affordable rates for artisans.

Dear Friends of the Richmond Ferry Church,

We would like to invite you to be a part of an historic event where 7,000 people will link arms to stand in unity to create a human chain across the City of Buffalo along Ferry Street from Niagara St to Bailey Ave.

We have organized a team to represent The Richmond Ferry Church. If you are interested in participating please register at www.handsacrossbuffalo.com and indicate (at the end of the online form) that you are affiliated/representing “The Richmond Ferry Church”.  Once you are registered,  plan to meet on Saturday at the Ferry Street side of the church at 10:30am. We will link arms along Ferry Street from 11:00am-11:15am. A music performance organized by Griffin Brady ~ The Slyboots Drum Ensemble will follow the arm-linking event.

Please also share this invite with your family, friends, clients…. and spread the word to as many people as you can. If you need any further information please feel free to contact [email protected]

Thanks for your support!
